Breathtaking Kentucky — 12 Comments

  1. YES. YES. YES. I love that Jack Kornfield quote, and strive to remember those three most important things. Backing away from those things we can no longer do is definitely a learning process. I quoted from the apostle Paul in a column I wrote this morning…his words regularly challenge me too. May you find beauty in your ‘present’ today, Karen. Me too.

  2. Beautiful, Karen. I love that you got to do that. How special. Yes, savoring all we still get to do now, being mindful of each day and the short time we have here. Missing you, my friend. love, Heidi

  3. Thank you so much Karen for your beautiful writing. The quote about the three things that are the most important are so true. I just love to read your writing because it always touches a deep place in my heart.

  4. Ah, Karen ! I could not agree more! It is an ongoing theme of many conversations I have had lately . Look back only on the good things God has done . Look at today and enjoy what He has made (nature Etc.) and what He is doing ( Changing lives) etc. Look ahead Trusting Him !
The product of trust is “Peace that passes all understanding” God bless you Karen 😍

  5. What a lovely experience and gift to your heart! Thank you for sharing this….My son recently had a work trip to Kentucky and he too remarked of the beautiful surroundings there.
    Love to you, Terrie
