Birthday Cake

Tomorrow I will turn 76! Can hardly believe it. I don’t feel my age–whatever that means. But one thing I do know the meaning of, and that is the favor of God on my life. He has given me all that I need–and I am full of gratitude. So “Happy Birthday” to me and thanks be to the Lord for the richness of:

• my husband, children and their spouses, grandchildren, siblings, and cousins

• friends like you

• good health

• a writing and teaching career that I love

• a church family

• neighbors with big hearts

• nature and its many blessings

“My purpose is to give you life in all its fullness.” (John 10:10 the Bible)
