    • Yes, I can feel your hug and your ongoing love and friendship. Wish you could have been with us yesterday to ‘celebrate’ Charles, but I know you were there in spirit and while he was alive you celebrated him in so many ways.

  3. I loved this post, Karen. Kudos to Lisa for being so faithful to send you cards. I love sending (and receiving) cards in this era when the mailbox rarely contains anything personal.     • Thank you, Michele. During the last few months before my husband died, I realized how important the little things truly are, because so many people did ‘little’ things for us and they often made the difference between a sad day and a happy day.

    • Thank you for the hug, Margaret. It felt warm and loving. I will send you a program from the Celebration of Life for Charles. The event was so beautiful. Charles would have loved it.

  8. As I have watched you go through this season of your life you have been such an inspiration to me.
    Your strength and Faith has touched my life in more ways then you can know.
    Charles memorial service was so beautiful and honoring of your love for one another. Even though I didn’t know him long I loved him and that beautiful smile of his.
