Blah! Blah! Blah! — 10 Comments

  1. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone! This week I am learning about 23 (that’s not a typo!) kinds of Medicare coverage and various plans, and how it blends with military stuff blah, blah, blah! I feel better already, knowing that I’m not the only one who is confused. 🙂 But yes, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever–the Rock on which we can stand. I like that He has just ONE plan for getting to heaven.

    • Kristi, what a great comment. I like your reference to the Lord’s ONE plan for getting to heaven. I’ll stick with that one too. 🙂

  2. Sound off week sounds good – I just listened to a very liberal radio commentator who annoyed me so much with his inaccurate statements that I turned him off. So glad our Savior is always the same, gracious, merciful, holy, loving, just. His plan is no advertisement but is the true hope of heaven.

  3. Good post, Karen. I went to auto shop today for oil change, etc. (est.$45 or so). I came away poorer by $700.00 – new tires, reallignment, blah, blah, blah. Same with politics: I’ve turned it all over to God and waiting with fascination to see what he will do. God bless.

    • Thanks, Marie. I’m with you, turning every detail of my life over to God, knowing the outcome will be according to his will.

  4. Thanks for another winner, Karen. I do not watch a lot of television but when I do and when a commercial comes on I “mute it”. HA! I turn them off before they turn Me off. EXCEPT when the really cute animal or cute kids commercials come on.I like to smile and laugh and some of these are ‘day brighteners’.
The scripture from Lamentations is one of my favorites and I think you used it not too many weeks ago. Yes, “great is HIS faithfulness and the blessings are new every morning” Bless the Lord, Oh my soul and all that is within me, Bless His holy name! Love to you. Margaret

  5. Hi Margaret. I laughed when I read your perky comment about you turning off the ads before they turn you off. Good idea! 🙂 And yes, great is God’s faithfulness and his blessings new every morning.

  6. That scripture is so beautiful. It’s such a gift that we have the Lord to love us unconditionally and his mercies are forever. In this world that is changing so rapidly, and identity theft being so rampant… we really need to rely upon the Lord. Two days ago someone from Krakow Poland used my debit card to purchase software. It was caught on the same day! I am thankful for the Lord’s wisdom, love and clarity.

    • Thanks, Sandy. So glad the credit card abuser was caught before any damage to your rating. I remember years ago Bank of America calling to verify use of my card (before they put the charge through) for the purchase of 12 gambling machines! The rep said this did not sound like something I would buy so a red flag came up in my account 🙂 Great is God’s faithfulness.
